Kamran Naim is Director of Partnerships and Initiatives for the non-profit publisher Annual Reviews in Palo Alto, California, and is also a Doctoral Candidate and Research Lead at the Stanford University Graduate School of Education. His interests span the breadth of scholarly publishing- from issues relating to access (particularly examining new models for open access), accessibility and usability of research information. He has worked extensively in the developing world- working to implement technical solutions to support capacity building through broader access and visibility of research. At Annual Reviews he works to advance the organization’s mission to support and advance research communities through a range of innovative programs that seek to maximize the positive impact of science on humanity.
